Important Notice

1. Safari is a quick fund option from Ajo Thrift Savings to address immediate financial needs while your funds are locked. You are expected to repay the exact amount you received as safari if not more than N10,000 from us without interest within 1 week, except in the case of late payment where a 10% interest will be charged(this condition strictly applies to active clients).

2. For active clients, the maximum fund you can access is either N10,000.00 for 1 week repayment tenor without interest or N100,000.00 for 1 to 4 weeks repayment tenor at a 10% interest rate. For inactive clients or those without an Ajo plan with us, we charge a 20% interest rate for 1 to 4 weeks repayment tenor.

3. Repayment of Safari without interest is expected to be repaid within 1 week if it is not more than N10,000.00. Failure to do so will result in a recovery debit of the same amount in any of your matured funded wallets, with an additional 5% late payment charge, and you will be banned from accessing the SAFARI page.

4. This same condition mentioned on item 3 also applies to Safari amounts above N10,000.00. However, the repayment date is limited to the exact date filed but not more than 4 weeks from the date of safar disbursal (whichever comes earlier). Late payment in this case will also lead to a recovery debit of the same amount in any of your matured funded wallets, with a 5% late payment charge, and you will be banned from accessing the SAFARI page.

5. In the event where your safari is not paid as at when due, we will be forced to restructure it for another 4 weeks, with a restructuring fee of N1,000, and 10% interest rate will be introduced for the additional 4 weeks repayment tenor before adhering to item 4.

6. Please be aware that defaulting on repayments will result to a reduction of your credibility rating. A reduced credibility rating will lead to a change in your Ajo Kiko number, which is considered a backward movement in the system.

7. Before applying, a non-refundable application fee of N1,000.00 is required per N100,000.00. Your safari approval is subject to the level of activity of either you or your guarantor on any of our Ajo plans.
