Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions outline the terms governing your utilization of this website (referred to as “this Site and its mobile app”) and your association with CHALLENGE (IBADAN) AJO TRUSTWORTHY COOPERATIVE INVESTMENT AND CREDIT SOCIETY LTD, commonly known as Ajoo e-coop (referred to as “the Society,” “we,” or “us”).

Please carefully read these terms as they impact your rights and responsibilities under the law. If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, kindly refrain from registering for or using the Site.

1. Use of the Site

1.1. The Site is provided for your personal use, and its use is subject to these Terms and Conditions. By utilizing the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Amendments

2.1. These Terms and Conditions may be updated periodically for legal, regulatory reasons, or to facilitate the proper operation of the Site.

Changes will be communicated to you through the email address provided during registration or via an announcement on the Site. These changes will apply to Site usage after the notice is given.

If you disagree with the updated Terms and Conditions, please discontinue using the Site. Continued use after the effective date indicates your acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.

3. Registration

3.1. To register on the Site, you must be at least eighteen years old.

3.2. Ensure that the information provided during registration is accurate and complete.

3.3. A registration fee of ₦2,000 (Two Thousand Naira Only) is mandatory.

3.4. Notify us promptly of any changes to your registration details to facilitate effective communication.

4. Shares

4.1. As a member of CHALLENGE (IBADAN) AJO TRUSTWORTHY COOPERATIVE INVESTMENT AND CREDIT SOCIETY LTD (Ajoo e-coop), Shares are a compulsory one-time payment deducted from members’ savings after 3 to 6 months of membership, in adherence to the Cooperative Society’s Bye-Law.

4.2. The total shares amount to NGN 10,000,000 for the first year, deducted from members’ contributions after six months.

5. Password and Security

5.1. When registering, create a password and keep it confidential to prevent fraud. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

5.2. We may request a password change or suspend your account if security is compromised.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1. The Site’s content is protected by copyright, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights. Reproduction or commercial use without written permission from the Society is prohibited.

7. Your Use of the Site

7.1. Prohibited actions include disseminating unlawful material, interfering with others’ use of the Site, and copyright infringement.

7.2. Breaching this clause incurs responsibility for losses and costs.

8. Availability of the Site

8.1. While we strive for optimal service, we do not guarantee fault-free operation. Report faults to ecoop@ajothriftsavings.com for correction.

8.2. Occasional restrictions may occur for repairs or new service introduction.

9. The Right to Suspend or Cancel Your Registration

9.1. We may suspend or cancel your registration at our discretion for breaches or failure to make monthly contributions.

9.2. Reactivate a suspended account within 24 hours of making contributions.

9.3. You can cancel your registration by notifying us in writing at ecoop@ajothriftsavings.com.

9.4. Suspension or cancellation does not affect statutory rights or liabilities.

10. Liability

10.1. The Society strives for accurate and reputable content. Liability for losses is limited to foreseeable consequences.

10.2. Members bear personal liability in the event of cooperative failure or insolvency.

11. Third-Party Websites

11.1. The Site includes links beyond our control. We are not responsible for external site content.

12. Advertising and Sponsorship

12.1. Advertisers and sponsors ensure compliance with laws and codes. We are not liable for errors in advertising material.

13. Applicable Law

13.1. Subject to Nigerian laws, disputes will be resolved efficiently within Nigeria.

14. International Use

14.1. The Site’s materials may not be suitable outside Nigeria. Accessing the Site from prohibited territories is forbidden.

15. Miscellaneous

15.1. Rights under these Terms and Conditions cannot be transferred. The Society may transfer its rights to another business without affecting your rights.

15.2. Breach enforcement may occur at a later date.

15.3. The Society is not liable for breaches caused by circumstances beyond its control.

15.4. The Site is owned and operated by Jadenjayfit Empire of Suite 3, Rao Building, Challenge, Ibadan, Oyo State.
